Shawn’s musical journey is one of resilience and self-belief. Always drawn to singing but held back by shyness, he spent years honing his craft in private, overcoming self-doubt and criticism. Encouraged by a few key mentors and a breakthrough performance at Geneva’s Got Talent, where he wowed a crowd of 500 with Drops of Jupiter, Shawn realized his true calling. With a deep drive to prove himself and honor the faith his grandparents had in his talent, he has dedicated himself fully to the pursuit of a professional music career.

His music speaks to those chasing their dreams, pushing through adversity, and striving for greatness. Whether performing intimate ballads or soaring anthems, Shawn's goal is to inspire hope and resilience in his listeners.

Currently, Shawn is focused on growing his audience, developing original music, and performing at premier venues. Shawn Kumar Graduated in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University. He’s a Real Estate Developer and Builder, with a manufacturing background. His musical background is both vocals and piano. He enjoys playing basketball and golf, and is Married with three boys.
